How often should the Matts come out for professional service?

Many new clients ask if they need us every week or if every other week is enough. In the Central Texas environment, we almost always recommend Weekly Service.

Why Weekly?

  1. Chemistry Drift: As we’ve mentioned, the Austin sun and high-calcium water cause chemistry to drift fast. Seven days is the maximum “safe” window.
  2. Debris Management: From Oak tassels in the spring to Live Oak leaves in the fall, debris builds up fast. Letting organic matter sit for 14 days is a recipe for staining.
  3. Equipment Health: We check your pump, filter, and chlorinator every time we’re there. Catching a small leak or a worn O-ring today saves you a major repair tomorrow.

Austin Detail: For our clients in heavily wooded areas like Lost Creek or Steiner Ranch, weekly service is a absolute necessity to keep the skimmers clear and the pumps running.
